RHS Students Recognized for Outstanding Artwork

 

Ten students from Richfield High School were individually recognized for their outstanding artwork at the 2017 Metro West Conference Visual Arts Exhibition Awards Program and Reception hosted by Normandale Community College.  All ten students received the Metro West Conference Visual Arts Exhibition Certificate for their exceptional efforts.

 

Brandon Bandith, Cierra Brown, Aria DeVries, Erica Duran, Lizbeth Juarez Gonzalez, Alexandra Medvec, Clarissa Moore, Lauren Toensing, Lizeth Vazquez Flores and Alexis White.

 

This year, two students also won Achievement awards (shown below with art teacher Jennifer Kotsmith Kraus). Brandon Bandith, 12th grade was selected for his tryptic digital image, The Collapse of Time. Alexandra Medvec, 9th grade, was also selected for her image, The Spirit of the Hunting Dog.  

 

The show will be on display at Normandale College until May 25th.
